Barbara Morin brings extensive public sector leadership and governance experience, although she is not presented as having previously held elected office. Her background as a lawyer, teacher, school principal and Director of Governance has given her experience with public accountability, policy, budgeting, collaborative decision-making, and working through complex issues with people who hold different views. She is seeking election to Kamloop City Council to bring practical transparent responsible leadership to City Hall.
Biography
Barbara Morin has called Kamloops home since 1977, raising her family and building a career as a lawyer, teacher, school principal and Governance Director. She is running for City Council to bring practical leadership, responsible spending, safer streets, attainable housing, and stronger economic growth. Barbara will listen carefully, ask tough questions, and remain accountable to Kamloops residents.
