Political Experience:
I have 10 years experience being on a City Council for the City of Merritt. I was known to be a committed councillor employing honesty and integrity while being responsible spending tax dollars. I listened to the public and represented them basing my decisions on research and facts, not emotions. I have attended almost every Council meeting in Kamloops over the past two years observing and learning how our current council and staff conduct the business of the city.
Biography
My wife Susan and I moved to Kamloops 2 years ago. Before that we resided at Big Bar Lake for a few years and previous to that Merritt for 23 years. I served on City Council in Merritt for 10 years and have a passion for Municipal politics. Both my daughters and grandchildren live in Kamloops. This is our home. I have been immersing myself in the community and getting to know people by volunteering for Ribfest, the seniors Christmas light tour, Brewfest, clean the beach and most recently for the + 55 games that were held at the beginning of Sept. My hobbies include biking, hiking, curling and spending time with my family.
